About Me
My name’s Nathan Weizenbaum, and this is my blog. I’m an undergraduate at the University of Washington, majoring in Computer Science and Philosophy.
I’ve been programming since late 2005, and doing open source stuff since late 2006. My biggest project is Haml and Sass, for which I’m the main developer. At their most basic, Haml and Sass offer elegant syntaxes for XHTML and CSS. Check them out; you’ll never have to write ugly HTML or CSS again.
Other projects:- I’m the main developer for make_resourceful, a Ruby on Rails plugin that takes the repetition out of REST. I’m the main developer.
- I created perspective.el, an Emacs library for working on lots of different things.
- I created Nex3’s Blog Engine, the engine that powers this blog.
My largest thoughts go on this blog, but when I think smaller things I put them on Twitter. Random links and what not go on my FriendFeed.
I like to chat with most people about most things, most of the time, so you’re welcome to contact me. My email and Jabber/Google Talk handle are both nex342@gmail.com.
